Two Interact clubs namely, Interact Club of Sister Nivedita and Interact Club of Sister Nivedita Regent have been functioning under the sponsorship of Rotary Club of Hyd North. These are part of Rotary International, 114- year old largest Service Organisation of the world.

Hyderabad: Two Interact clubs namely, Interact Club of Sister Nivedita and Interact Club of Sister Nivedita Regent have been functioning under the sponsorship of Rotary Club of Hyd North. These are part of Rotary International, 114- year old largest Service Organisation of the world.

The Induction of new team of office bearers for year 2019-20 was held in School recently and Rtn. Kamal Kannan, District Chairman, Interact Clubs, RI Dist. 3150 was the Chief Guest. With his motivational words he encouraged the students understand the importance of serving the special people and creating awareness on many socio-environmental issues. M Karthikeyan of class 10 and Ananya Muthigi of class 10 were installed as the Presidents of Interact Club of SN Regent and Interact Club of Sister Nivedita respectively. The Board and members of the two clubs were also inducted in the proceedings.

This day had been a day of pride and glory for the installed members of the clubs as there were members of the Rotary Club present for this occasion to bless the students and to make them realize their responsibilities. Rtn. Jayanthi Venkataraman, Principal of the School, had led the newly installed members to pledge their vows. Rtn. G M Rao, Secretary, Rotary Club of Hyd. North, Rtn. Harihara Prasad, the Director of the school had extended their hands in investing the Board members of the two interact clubs.

In a short and memorable ceremony, the Presidents of the newly installed clubs had promised the gathering that serving the people would be focused and various action plans would be taken up this whole year. The first project that they would be undertaking is the distribution of notebooks to the students of Government schools, followed by a visit to the Integrated Welfare Society, the Home for destitute & mentally challenged people.

Thus the two interact clubs will work with a great vigour and zeal to achieve satisfaction.
