It appears an indirect clash is rising in Karnataka political scene. The tug of war is between two parliamentarians from Mandya and Kodagu. In a sort of retort, MP Sumalatha has reacted to Kodagu MP Pratap Simha's statement regarding her style of working which has gone viral. "I would have replied had he spoken respectfully true to the status of a parliamentarian. But why should I reply if has spoken like a street rowdy? I have faced such statements during the election period.

Nobody would have the guts to speak while Ambareesh was alive. But they are making such statements after he left. Pratap Simha has no right to speak about me and he doesn't have that credential also. He has enough work to do in Mysore. He has become MP twice but the language he used is unbecoming of a parliamentarian. He should know his responsibility while speaking," said the actress turned politician.

Whenever a politician visits it is common for people to complain. KR Nagar belongs to Mysore Parliament constituency and when I visit Mandya people tell me that there are no good roads and drainages but I have not commented about it so far. People have already given him a fitting reply via social media. Hence Pratap Simha has to think before making such callous statements, said Sumalatha.

It may be recalled that Pratap Simha had alleged that Sumalatha was not working properly in her constituency and had said that Sumalatha was elected just to defeat Devegowda's family.
