The proverb "Familiarity breeds contempt" can now be changed to too much prosperity leads to Insanity.

The proverb "Familiarity breeds contempt" can now be changed to too much prosperity leads to Insanity. In US, the super power nation, the frequency of suicides were very alarming during the 80s and 90s. The researchers and psychiatrists attributed this to too much luxury and comfort most citizens enjoyed at that point in time.

The abuse of money power led to chaos and tragedies in their lives. In the present days, Indians seem to be no different from them when we see the suicidal rates in our country. A young and talented actor who ended his journey on earth in the prime of his life by hanging himself to death has sent shockwaves in the film fraternity

Needless to emphasize here that money is not the only criteria to lead a happy life in this world.

If we were to analyse this in a spiritual way, we can infer that even if you sit in an air-conditioned room if there is no condition of the mind you are bound to suffer the agony. There is no dearth of spiritual gurus and spiritual organisations in our country but people who are immersed in amassing wealth, fame and prosperity have no time to sit back and contemplate. They are in a race to get to the top in record time which is a real tragedy we are facing at this moment.

We learn that Sushant Rajput had everything in life a man would need to survive happily on this earth but what made him take this unfortunate decision is subject to further investigation. But prima-facie it appears his mind pushed him into depression, the reason for which is unfathomable to observers. He bas left quite an impression in the industry within a short span of time and his journey to the top has been nipped in the bud.

It's also surprising to note that he has not left any suicidal note which simply implies that it was an impulsive decision of the actor to take his own life. All his fans and colleagues are saying just this...if only he had called up someone close to him for comfort. However, all that remains right now are ifs and if only.

The present younger generation must learn from Sushant's mistake of giving up too soon. After all, living itself is life's greatest gift. Your life is too precious to be thrown away like that. Challenges, surprises and lovely moments await you, why give it all up in your weak moment. Should you feel low at any point in time, dial a friend and seek comfort or even seek professional help. Celebrate life for there lies ahead a beautiful life.
