Coronavirus in Rajasthan: Rajasthan reports 603 new COVID19 cases and 7 deaths, taking the total positive cases and deaths in the state to 79,380 and 1,037 respectively. Total active cases in the state are 14,730: State Health Department 

Coronavirus in Odisha: 3014 new COVID19 cases, 2888 recoveries and 12 deaths reported in Odisha as on August 28. Total number of cases now at 100934 including 29685 active cases, 70714 recoveries and 482 deaths: Health Department, Odisha 

Coronavirus in Telangana: Telangana reported 2,924 new COVID19 positive cases, 1,638 recoveries and 10 deaths on August 29, taking the total number of cases to 1,23,090 in the state.

The total number of cases includes 31,284 active cases, 90,988 recoveries and 818 deaths so far: State Health Dept 

The total number of samples tested up to 29th August is 4,14,61,636 including 10,55,027 samples tested yesterday: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)

Andhra Pradesh News: With the extreme low pressure continues in central and northern Uttar Pradesh and southern Uttar Pradesh and with surface trough continues up to the height of 7.6km which is moving at a height of 0.9km from north-south basin from the northern coast of Tamil Nadu to the Comerin region would result in heavy rain in parts of Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh: A woman allegedly jumped off from the terrace of a five-storey building after throwing down her 9-month-old baby, in Guntur y'day. The infant died on spot, woman died later at hospital. Police say, "Her family have expressed suspicions. FIR lodged, probe underway" (ANI)
