The Congress has taken the lead by promising Rs 72,000 annually to poor families, besides waiving farm loans. Chandrababu Naidu has promised Rs 2 lakh per annum to every poor family. His scheme virtually is from womb to tomb! KCR won Telangana elections hands down on the promise of Rs 6,000 help per month to farmers.
Tejashwi Yadav has promised implementation of the Mandal Commission! In a free for all, the BJP, too, has released its 'Sankalp Patra', promising pension to all shopkeepers above the age of 60 and free houses, LPG and Rs 6,000 to farmers!
