Patancheru: The police on Sunday arrested 11 persons allegedly playing cards in a house in J P Colony. Police recovered Rs 2.5 lakh from their possession and four cell phones, after conducting a raid on the premises.

The inspector said the arrested persons were sent to remand. He advised residents of colonies to give information regarding such happenings immediately to the police. The information would be kept secret.
