Farmers often throw surplus veggies on the wayside of the road, when they don't get suitable price for their produce. But this is a stark example of wasting veggies that too at a time when the prices of tomatoes are high in the markets. The Moinabad and surrounding areas are the only source of veggies that fulfill the demands of city markets these days.
