Apathy to students in need of certificates
Students seeking admission in to polytechnic and ITI courses are making a beeline to the local mandal office seeking residential certificates. As the office staff are allegedly indifferent to the needs of students, their parents are expressing their ire at the attitude of the staff.

Some students told The Hans India that the staff were asking them, after failing to locate the related papers, to come back and apply afresh. when questioned or stating that their caste is not eligible for the income certificates.
When THI questioned the staff, they simply relied that they were not aware of the students' complaints. They were seen intimidating those daring question them. This was confirmed by Medchal district BJP secretary Prabhakar.
He told THI that parents were suffering because of the behavior of the staff in the local mandal office towards their wards. For their failure to issue on time the required certificates, students were facing several problems. Appealing to the officials to expedite issue of certificates, he threatened to launch an agitation if they failed in properly discharging their duty..
