Awareness drive on cleanliness held
As part of Saaf Hyderabad Shandar Hyderabad, zonal commissioner Hari Chandana and deputy commissioner Yadagiri Rao conducted awareness programmes at MA Nagar on Sunday. On the occasion, a rally was taken out with 300 families living in the area, GHMC staff and officials.

Later, an awareness session was held, in which Hari Chandana explained to the locals about the segregation of waste into wet and dry waste and preparation of compost at home. She also explained the importance of keeping one's surroundings clean. After the sessions, zonal commissioner, GHMC staff and locals cleared the waste in the colony as part of 'shram daan.'
Among those who participated in the programme were Circle AMOH Dr Ravi, veterinary officer Dr Ranjith, AEs Anand, Anurag, Ramesh, electrical AE Rammohan, local SS, representatives of NGOs, SRPs, work inspectors, SFAs, COs, staff of entomology department, locals and others.
