TDP celebrated noted Dalit leader Babu Jagjivan Ram’s 112th birth anniversary at the party office here on Friday. Hyderabad district Telugu Desam party president MN Srinivas Rao paid floral tributes to the great leader. Rao lauded the services rendered by the great leader to the downtrodden, backward and Dalit sections of the society.

Terming the TRS party as anti-dalit, he accused CM KCR of not keeping his promise of installing a 150-ft statue of Jagjivan Ram in the city. TDP leaders Vanam Ramesh, MekalaSarangapani, Bhadrinath Yadav, Yadagiri Rao, P Ashok, N Mallesh, N Sharan, MuppidiNarsing, Kiran, Pentam Raju, Venkatesh, Krishna Pujari, Babu Rao and other leaders were present.
