Central prison holds awareness camp in Chanchalguda
On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, an awareness camp was conducted at Central Prison in Chanchalguda on Tuesday.

The City Civil Court Legal Services Authority secretary, B Venkatesh and Legal Aid advocate Sd Faheemullah and other advocates participated in the programme. They interacted with all undertrial prisoners and explained to them about human rights of prisoners under Judicial custody.
Further, they also assured in extending legal services to the poor, deserved prisoners in engaging an advocate on state cost and rendering services in obtaining bail/plea bargaining etc. The secretary also stated that an accused was not guilty until it was proved.
The superintendent of jail, Dr D Srinivas expressed his thanks for the efforts of City Civil Court Legal Services Authority, Hyderabad, in extending legal services to the deserving prisoners under law, which facilitates speedy disposal of longstanding cases. Deputy Superintendents M Venkateshwarlu and D Bharath, Jailors V Shashikanth and R Srinivas and other Jail officers were present.
