Patancheru: The Chaturthi Utsavalu continued in the well-known Sri Siddhi Vinayaka temple here in the mandal on Wednesday. State Minister T Harish Rao, MPs Kotha Prabhakar Reddy and BB Patil, local MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy, former legislator K Satyanarayana, Sangareddy MLA Chinta Prabhakar, Collector Hanmantha Rao were among the visitors, besides residents of the Mahanagar surrounding areas.
They contributed to the temple 'hundi'. Its contents were counted on Wednesday. Temple Executive Officer Mohan Reddy told The Hans India that the collections totaled Rs 5,35,378. He said over two lakh devotees more than those of the previous years had visited the shrine.
