CII Telangana holds CFO Forum meet
CII Telangana organised the First Meeting of its first of its kind CFO Forum 2019-20 on the topic “Securing Digital Enterprises” here on Thursday.
Hyderabad: CII Telangana organised the First Meeting of its first of its kind CFO Forum 2019-20 on the topic "Securing Digital Enterprises" here on Thursday. VV Parsuram, Mentor, Ease of Doing Business Panel, CII-Telangana, & Global Head-R&D, Dr Reddy's Labs, in his welcome address mentioned that the aim of the Forum was to create an ecosystem for CFOs to converge over common interests; to share insights and ideas on the current trends in corporate finance in an informal setting and also promote peer-to-peer learning of best practices among the CFOs.
Vanitha Datla, former chairperson of CII Telangana and vice-chairperson & MD of Elico Ltd, set the context and highlighted the purpose of this important forum. She said that the forum would address the current needs of CFOs in areas of emerging trends, functional challenges, budgetary requirements and recommendation, technology etc. She urged the members to actively participate to derive more value professionally. The forum would also submit the budgetary recommendations to State and Central Governments.
Parthasarathy, Chief Innovation Officer & Leader-Cyber Risk Services for India & South Asia, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP, provided a detailed overview on the trends driving the emerging digital enterprise in different sectors, and risk factors in terms of creating a secured digital enterprise. He also dwelt on how digital transformation was an acceleration for inclusive growth. The forum was well attended by more than 40 CFOs from diverse industry sectors.
