Civil Rights Day celebrated in Thokatta SC Colony committee hall
Local Secunderabad Cantonment Board Ward member Jakkula Maheshwar Reddy, Tirumalgiri Tahsildar Gafar Hussain Naib attended the Civil Rights Day celebrations in Thokatta SC Colony committee hall organised by EBC Welfare Association and Telangana SC, ST organisations.
Bowenpally: Local Secunderabad Cantonment Board Ward member Jakkula Maheshwar Reddy, Tirumalgiri Tahsildar Gafar Hussain Naib attended the Civil Rights Day celebrations in Thokatta SC Colony committee hall organised by EBC Welfare Association and Telangana SC, ST organisations.
Addressing the gathering, Maheshwar Reddy stated that the SC, ST Act enunciated equality to all members of the SC, ST communities. The law was against various types of mass repression, he said, adding that observance of the Civil Rights Day symbolised the call for equal rights for SCs and STs.
Among those present at the function were members of the association Ashok Kumar, G S Yadav, Prabhakar, Narsing, Chandramohan, Srinivas, Naveen, Ramesh, Bharath, Sandeep and Lokesh.
