Compensation paid to kin of boat mishap victims

The financial assistance of Rs 6.30 lakh was provided by the Telangana labour department to five boat victims and four construction workers who were killed accidentally in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Malla Reddy said that the boat victims would also get financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh announced by Andhra Pradesh government, apart from Rs 5 lakh announced by the Telangana government.
The minister thanked AP government for giving financial assistance to the victims from Telangana state. The boat victims from Kadipikonda will also be provided with financial assistance very soon, he said. Government's chief whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, principal secretary at labour department Shashank Goel, joint commissioners Gangadhar, Srinivas, secretary of construction labour Ravinder Reddy, labour official Neelima and others were present on the occasion.
