Local Corporator M Lakshmi Bai on Sunday constituted locality-wise ‘basti’ and women’s committees with the objective of strengthening the TRS in Allwyn Colony Phase- I at the instance of the party working president K Tarakarama Rao.

The new representatives of the committees are: Mohan Rao (president); Mounika (women's president), Sridhar Babu (chief vice-president), Pradeep Reddy (vice-president), Satish, Saidulu (general secretaries), Anjaneyulu (joint secretary), Srinivas Yadav, Govind Rao and Mahesh Reddy (organising secretaries), Srikanth and Satyanarayana (members).
Addressing them, the corporator stated that the newly elected representatives would be participants in the party's development works. She said many women and colony residents were coming forward to join the committees, while appealing to all to contribute to the colony's development. She said new committees would be formed after involving all residents and that every active person in the party would be given a suitable post in the mahila and the youth committees.
