Devinavaratri festivities at Balamrai Kali temple

The 60th Devinavaratri celebrations were organised on a grand scale on Saturday near Sri Kali Durgamatha temple in Balamrai. A ‘Ganapathi’ Homam and a ‘Chandi Yagam were organised as part of the celebrations.

The deity gave 'darshan' to the devotees as Saraswathi Devi. Temple committee's general secretary B Ramesh who has been active since 1993 in the 'seva' of the goddess told the media that he would continue the service activities if his health permitted.
Among those present were committee members D Anjaneyulu, Rajesh Yadav, Vivekanand, Ramesh, Uma Mahesh, Nagesh, Venkatachalam.
