Ameerpet: Overflowing drain on main road of Ameerpet is causing a great distress to commuters and residents. Though numerous complaints were poured no action was taken by any officials and it is observed every alternate day, says a shopkeeper.
"It is even more difficult for the motorists and commuters to travel on overflowing sewage water and this turning become an accident spot as it turned into a slippery stretch," says Mahinder, a motorist. Pedestrians and commuters complains about the dirty water sprinkling on them as the vehicles pass by, situation is getting worse because of monsoon, water stagnation leading to traffic congestion as the slop of the road is very low.
"Over flowing drain is the major issue which we complain every time, this complaint is ragging since years, we complained to GHMC several times, But there is no action has been taken, we are truly disappointed for the negligence" said Kalpana, a resident.
