Musheerabad: On receiving several complaints regarding damage of sewerage and drinking water pipelines, Ramnagar corporator V Srinivas Reddy, accompanied by GHMC AE Papamma, work inspectors Shiva, Ravi and HMWS manager Hakim, visited Risalagadda and other affected colonies.

During their visit, several locals of the basti complained to the corporator that the area faces frequent drainage overflows and irregular supply of drinking water due to broken sewerage and drinking water pipelines.

Addressing the locals, V Srinivas Reddy said that the old pipelines laid 30 years ago have been causing frequent issues in the area. He assured public that he instructed officials to prepare estimates for laying of new pipelines in the area and road repairs. V Srinivas Reddy stood at the spot for two hours to monitor clearing of drainage blocks in the area. Ramnagar division minority president Wahid Ali, R Mallesham, Murali, Venkat and other locals were present.
