Malkajgiri: Local MLA Mynampally Hanumantha Rao inaugurated underground drainage works taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 10 lakh at Chandragiri Colony on Tuesday. Later, he inspected the ongoing open nala construction works at Vani Nagar.

During the MLA's visit, residents of Chandragiri Colony submitted a memorandum, urging him to sanction funds for construction of community hall and other developmental works in the colony. He assured that he would speak to the authorities concerned and ensure that funds are sanctioned. He instructed the officials to complete the works at the earliest.

Among those who participated in the programme were colony residents Anjaiah, Raju, Pratap, Muralikrishna, Arundhati, TRS leaders BaddamParushuram Reddy, Prem Kumar, Srinivas, GSV Satish, Krishnamurthi Goud, Chandramouli, Pramod Kumar, Prabhakar Reddy, Priya, Rajitha and others.
