Hayatnagar: The TRS membership drive was held under the aegis of senior leader Chirumamilla Madhu at Auto nagar on Friday. MLC Egge Mallesham, constituency membership in-charge Puttam Purushotham Rao and corporator Sama Tirumala Reddy were the chief guests on the occasion.
They said they were targeting for more than one lakh memberships. "Currently, the membership strength has come to about 40,000. It would be easy for us to complete the target as people are voluntarily coming to join the party," they added, while speaking to the media.
Ward member Anjamma, Amaravathi, Gaddam Balu, Uma, area members T Venkatesh, M Satthi Reddy, leaders Ashok Goud, B Bikshapathi, Bhaskar Sagar, Sridhar, Mallesh and others were present.
