Kacheguda: The RTC employees who have been on strike for the last 40 days on Wednesday took up a unique protest near the Kacheguda depot, by sweeping the roads to express their resentment against the alleged 'dictatorial' attitude of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Addressing them, Amberpet CPI(M) leader Mahender observed that the aspirations for which Telangana was secured were not being realised. He hit out at KCR for running the administration like a 'king' and said the government ignoring the directives of the State High Court. He expressed anguish over the deaths of 30 RTC workers so far due to heart failure after a drop in their confidence levels.

The CPI(M) expressed distress that these deaths had not moved KCR. He accused the CM of trying to sell assets of RTC to purchase some more MLAs. This was despicable, Mahender said called upon the people to agitate for forcing KCR to resign. Among those present at the protest were RTC employees Sudarshan, Y R Reddy, Venkatesham, Ravikumar, T V Reddy, Ashok and Kiran.
