Garbage piles up in TNGO Colony

Gachibowli: The residents of TNGO Colony are facing civic apathy by the authorities. The locals are distressed over irregular garbage dumping and cleaning, which has led to malodorous smell and the garbage spots have become breeding grounds for mosquitoes besides causing stray menace locally.

Sudha K, a local resident, shares, "The locals are reminding officials repeatedly about overflowing garbage bin. The GHMC workers come to pick up garbage very rarely. As a result, the garbage piles up, triggering numerous problems for us.

"The pigs problem is not yet solved as the garbage is left in open spaces everywhere. There are more than five to eight pigs roaming and digging up the garbage in these areas," she added further.
