GHMC staff neglect garbage removal
The Tank Road here is dotted with heaps of garbage and the stretch is resembles more of a dump yard, giving nightmares to the residents and commuters. The GHMC bins that are placed in this area have not been cleared for the past two days.

R Spandana, a resident, said, "This has become a common issue for us living in this area. We have been complaining to the authorities about the issue several times. The action is also implemented by the authorities but after a few days the issue again occurs. The bins are placed beside a GHMC park. People from different areas come and throw garbage here."
"This leads to an unpleasant smell and mosquito population rises in the locality. Commuters and motorists who pass from the area urinate here making the condition more miserable. Due to this our children cannot get of the houses and play in the park," added Spandana.
