Lalaguda: Responding to the report, 'Garbage bins overflow, officials look away,' published in The Hans India on September 25, the GHMC officials swung into action and instructed the sanitation workers and waste pickers to clean the waste, which was thrown at Lalaguda under bridge.

The report highlighted the inconvenience faced by the pedestrians and commuters. The overflowing garbage covered almost half of the road. It had been emanating foul smell and creating hardships to motorists and pedestrians leading to traffic jams.
