Haleem gets a big thumbs-up

Ravikanth, a customer, says "This is nearby our house. We stay in Yousufguda basti. We come here every year during Ramzan. The haleem over here is really tasty."

"This is our fifth year of serving haleem and i can say after seeing the response from our customers that they are loving our haleem. We serve both mutton and chicken haleem," says Syed Mujeeb Ali, the owner of Kavachana. The rush at the outlet is a testimony to their growing popularity year after year.

"We have been serving haleem every Ramzan since 1990 in Kukatpally. I assure we serve the best chicken and mutton haleem around here. Our customers have been visiting us for our unique taste and the richness of the haleem. We get daily customers from around Kukkatpally Miyapur and nearby areas. People from all religions come," said Venkatesh Yadav.

Vasu, a customer, said, "I like the rich flavour of the meat and masalas it is very digestive and healthy. During Ramzan I try to come here every weekend to eat haleem as it is the best to have during Ramzan. I have been visiting here since two years they also serve good biryanis too."

"We have been serving Haleem since 1992 and since then the customers response has always been positive every Ramzan. Customers love our special mutton and chicken haleem and people from all religion come here to taste haleem during Ramzan," says a beaming owner, Jaffar Khan. Says Ravi, a customer: "Every year we visit this place. There is a rare camaraderie between us. No Ramzan goes without us visiting here."

"For the last nine years, we have been maintaining hygiene, sanitation and quality, which makes our haleem famous around here. We have a few customers who come from Old City also to taste the haleem here. Old City is considered as the best place to get haleem and people coming from there to our restaurant is a very special thing for us," informs Mohd Idrees & Ashish Turkar, proud owners of Pride of Hyderabad.

A customer Nitin agrees, "This is the best chicken haleem one can get. The richness of the masalas and meat is amazing and tastes delicious. I have been visiting here for the past four years and I love the haleem here."
