Heaps of garbage lie at GHMC Park
A massive amount of garbage was thrown in front of the GHMC park in AS Rao Nagar. Plastic waste, branches of trees and food waste were thrown there.
AS Rao Nagar: A massive amount of garbage was thrown in front of the GHMC park in AS Rao Nagar. Plastic waste, branches of trees and food waste were thrown there.
Speaking to Hans India, Vani G said, "It has been for weeks now that this garbage has been thrown here. None of the authorities make sure that this gets cleaned up. We have been complaining about, but no action has been taken till date."
"The GHMC workers clean the road and leave all the leaves and other waste a side and when asked to remove it they say the GHMC van will come and remove it. There have been times when these workers ask for some extra amount to remove the garbage. Even if we pay them, by the time we leave from there they just throw the garbage somewhere aside and leave," added Vani.
