"With stable governance, Hyderabad city is attracting investments. In the last five years, the IT investments have been doubled and many world-famous companies regarded Hyderabad as their second home," he said.
He continued to say that Hyderabad is considered as the safest place in the world in geographical terms and is shielded from natural disasters. "The city needs human resources, government policies and logistics for the IT development," he said adding that the Amazon has first chosen Bengaluru but later set up its unit in Hyderabad after being impressed by the tax policies of Telangana government.
"Besides IT, Hyderabad will be developed as an electric hub by developing electronics and electrical sectors. Even, the state stands first in the food processing industry and several processing units are being set up in districts," Rama Rao said.
