Hyderabad: Hare Krishna Movement (HKM) celebrated Vaikunta Ekadasi grandly at Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Golden Temple in Banjara Hills on Friday. As part of Vaikunta Dwara Prathista Lord's darshan was provided through 'Uttara Dwara' (north door) of the temple.
Devotees from all corners of the city thronged the temple. Celebrations began at 4.30 am. Abhishekam with flowers, fruti juices and pancha dravyas was performed to the presiding deity of the temple. As part of the celebrations "Sampoorana Gita Parayanam" was performed during the day, where in all the 700 slokas of the "Bhagavad Gita" along with explanations were recited by the devotees for the pleasure of the Lord and to bring in peace and prosperity to one and all.
All the festivities were in strict adherence to COVID regulations issued by the government. The celebrations concluded with a grand maha arati and pushpanjali seva to the Lord in the evening.
