The Virtual Swayamvaram which was organised by anti-dowry campaigners, IdontwantDowry.com, received a good response on Sunday
Hyderabad: The Virtual Swayamvaram which was organised by anti-dowry campaigners, IdontwantDowry.com, received a good response on Sunday. Some 200 participants and their family members took part in the virtual meet, which was held in Zoom App, which otherwise was organised in auditoriums but due to the pandemic it was held virtually.
Ravichander, a senior counsel in High Court, greeted the participants and congratulated the organisers on the 15th meet. Participants introduced themselves to one another and shared their bio-data and their interests. The event started at 10am and lasted till 4pm.
Speaking to The Hans India, Satya Naresh, founder of IdontwantDowry.com, said that event was successfully organised and he was happy to see the response among the participants. "A few more would have joined if we extend this another 2 hours. Later we received the calls from other participants and they were disappointed as they were late to the event."
