Ikya Yuvajana Sanghala Vedika demands action against private schools
The Ikya Yuvajana Sanghala Vedika (IYSV) demanded action against private schools in the town for their alleged violation of regulation.
Patancheru: The Ikya Yuvajana Sanghala Vedika (IYSV) demanded action against private schools in the town for their alleged violation of regulation.
Navabharath Nirman Yuva Sena president Mettu Sridhar, BC Students' Association district president Balram and TJAC's leader Vijay Kumar at a press conference here on Saturday accused the private schools of collecting fee in lakhs. Among those present were Srikanth Reddy, Laddu, Rafi, Durgesh, Jnaneshwar.
The leaders charged the schools with not taking up proper teaching and turning students into robots and not paying adequately their teachers. They claimed that despite many complaints the Education department officials, including those at the mandal-level, 'totally failed' to take any action against private schools.
The leaders stated that parents were disregarding government schools while forgetting that they were once students there. 'Such parents should encourage government schools'. They said, adding that the Education department at least now should act strongly against such private schools.
