Irregularities alleged in teacher selections

MLC Narsi Reddy extended his support to the protesting teachers.
On July 8, the state government released schedule and guidelines for the recruitment of those who were selected through TRT 2017, but the appointments were made without following merit or roster method, Narsi Reddy alleged.
Terming it as anti-constitutional, he said that several SC, ST and BC candidates have lost opportunity due to improper appointments. He demanded the commissioner of school education to conduct counselling again and take necessary action against the erring officials. He said that they would complain to SC, ST and BC commissions and seek justice from courts if necessary corrective action is not taken.
Among those who participated in the protest include Kongala Venkat, Anjaiah, Sayanna, Susheel Kumar Gaikwad, Praveen Kumar, Yadaiah, Ram and others.
