Kishan Reddy has done nothing for Secunderabad: BRS
The BRS leaders from the Secunderabad Lok Sabha segment on Sunday alleged that the Union Minister G Kishan Reddy had done nothing for the constituency and people would defeat the BJP leader and ensure victory of the BRS candidate.
Hyderabad: The BRS leaders from the Secunderabad Lok Sabha segment on Sunday alleged that the Union Minister G Kishan Reddy had done nothing for the constituency and people would defeat the BJP leader and ensure victory of the BRS candidate.
The BRS leaders including MLAs Talasani Srinivas Yadav, T Padma Rao, MagantiGopinath, Md Mahamood Ali, Kaleru Venkatesh addressed a press conference here on Sunday. Srinivas Yadav said that there was a good response from the people of the segment when party Chief K Chandrashekar Rao announced the candidature of Padma Rao Goud.
“He has served the people as a corporator, MLA and minister. Pajjanna is well known to the people of Secunderabad. We will hold a general body meeting in a couple of days and start campaigning in Secunderabad,” said Srinivas Yadav, adding Padma Rao was going to win with a huge majority.
Padmarao Goud said that BRS had dynamic MLAs in Secunderabad Lok Sabha Constituency. We people are our family and we always believed in people. What did Kishan Reddy do to this area? Secunderabad is my home. Recently I went around Hyderabad and there has been a wonderful development.
Sometimes up and down is common in politics and again it is our government which is coming,” said Padma Rao.
Replying to a question, Padma Rao said, he feels ashamed to talk about party MLA DanamNagender stating that he always changes parties. People of Khairatabad are conscious and they have defeated him in the past, recalled Padma Rao.
Mahmood Ali said that KCR announced secular leaders like Padma Rao Goud as candidate for Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat. Padma Rao has been with the party since its inception. In 2002, he was the only corporator who won in Greater on behalf of TRS.
The promises given by Congress were not being implemented. Kishan Reddy has done nothing as MP for Secunderabad area, he alleged. MLAs Maganti Gopinath, Kaleru Venkatesh also addressed.
