Lawyers Forum for Social Justice has demanded that the state government call RTC employees for unconditional talks, and ensure that the strike is withdrawn. Forum leaders were speaking at a press conference held here on Wednesday.
Basheerbagh: Lawyers Forum for Social Justice has demanded that the state government call RTC employees for unconditional talks, and ensure that the strike is withdrawn. Forum leaders were speaking at a press conference held here on Wednesday. Forum president Srinivas Reddy advised RTC union leaders to strive for the resolution of the issue so that interests of the organisation were served.
Criticising the state government for not heeding the court directives to resolve the strike through talks, he termed the government actions as anti-constitutional. Srinivas Reddy condemned irresponsible comments by ruling party leaders which instigated RTC employees to commit suicides. He urged both the parties to act wisely and ensure that the Transport Corporation would not incur further losses.
