Alwal: Sewage has been flowing from the manhole for the past two weeks in Old Alwal and causing inconvenience to locals and commuters. The sewerage water has been flowing onto the road and posing a problem to the passersby and also resulting in the breeding of mosquitoes in this area.
Even though the locals over here have made a complaint to the authority concerned about this issue and requested the officials to look into this matter seriously, still no action has been taken, said a local resident, R Suresh.
