Lalapet: MCH Colony Association members on Monday urged officials concerned not to allot the government park in the colony to private school.
They alleged that the colony has been allotted with the park and community hall. "Children, elders will face hardships if the park is given to private school. Instead, Prof Jaya Shankar stadium in Lalapet can be allocated to private school students," they added.
Residents Chandrasekhar, Urmila, Shankar Rao and others were present.
