MA Waheed new EO at Haj Committee
MA Waheed, managing director of Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation, took over additional charge of Executive Officer of Telangana State Haj Committee, relieving Prof SA Shukoor of additional charge on Friday.
Nampally: MA Waheed, managing director of Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation, took over additional charge of Executive Officer of Telangana State Haj Committee, relieving Prof SA Shukoor of additional charge on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that he would perform his duties of serving the guests of Allah (Haj pilgrims) with the cooperation of all the concerned.
Prof Shukoor thanked the government for giving him the opportunity of serving the Haj Committee for seven years. Members of the committee AEO, Irfan Shareef, Media Consultant Shoukat Ali Khan, GM Abid, Syed Kabeer, Mohammed Nooruddin, Asif Hussain, Khaja Naseeruddin, Mohammed Fareed, Masood Ali and others were also present on the occasion.
Later, Waheed called on Mohammed Masiullah Khan, Chairman TS Haj Committee. He announced that the third orientation training camp for Haj pilgrims by the Telangana State Haj Committee will be held at Bozai Function Hall at Balanagar, starting from 10:30 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
Waheed will preside over the inauguration. Eminent scholars will highlight the Haj rituals and visit of the tomb of Holy Prophet. Important aspects of Haj journey will also be highlighted. He said that pilgrims including those going through private tour operators may also attend the programme.
