Metropolitan Legal Services Authority conducts legal awareness camp
The Metropolitan Legal Services Authority (MLSA), Hyderabad, on Friday conducted legal awareness programme at Government Girls High School (II Lancer), Golconda.
Golconda: The Metropolitan Legal Services Authority (MLSA), Hyderabad, on Friday conducted legal awareness programme at Government Girls High School (II Lancer), Golconda.
MLSA secretary S Swathi Reddy explained to the girl students about the support and legal aid being provided by the Authority. She also provided insights into the legal provisions for girls and asked them to avail them in times of need. Elaborating on subjects like dowry, child marriage, child labour, she threw emphasis that they should be fought and brought under complete control.
Later, the MLSA secretary awarded the girl students, who took part in elocution, drawing and other competitions. During her interaction with students, she also tried to clarify their doubts. She called upon the school's staff to maintain hygiene inside the class rooms and school premises so that students may not fall sick. Headmaster of the school S A Wajid Hashmi, advocate Mohammad Afzal and several other staff members were present on the occasion.
