Local MLA Arekapudi Gandhi on Friday handed over the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques for Rs 2.95 lakh to beneficiaries Venkateswarlu of Jagadgirigutta (Rs 1 lakh), Vijay of Guttala Begumpet (Rs 75,000), Satyanarayana Reddy of Mayurinagar, Miyapur (Rs 60,000) and Brahmachary of Hydernagar (Rs.60,000).
Serilingampally: Local MLA Arekapudi Gandhi on Friday handed over the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques for Rs 2.95 lakh to beneficiaries Venkateswarlu of Jagadgirigutta (Rs 1 lakh), Vijay of Guttala Begumpet (Rs 75,000), Satyanarayana Reddy of Mayurinagar, Miyapur (Rs 60,000) and Brahmachary of Hydernagar (Rs.60,000).
Addressing the beneficiaries' family members, Gandhi stated that the CMRF assistance was like a boon for the poor in distress and came in handy for those in need of hospitalisation or treatment. "It provides financial assurance to the poor," he added.
