Patancheru: Local MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy on Saturday attended the valedictory function of the Gurukul State-level T-10 cricket tournament at the school in Jinnaram. Zilla Parishad Chairperson Manjusri was present. The MLA gave away prizes to the winning teams.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said the State government was providing quality education along with sports to poor students and extending incentives to them. He advised students to develop interest in sports. Jinnaram MPP D Ravinder Goud and other speakers too wanted students to show equal interest in both studies and sports.
Among those present at the function were the ZP Vice-chairman, MPTC Members, sarpanches, youth.
