National Education Day celebrations on Nov 11
Commemorating the 131st birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the Save Urdu Organisation (SUO) will be conducting ‘National Education Day’ on November 11, at Urdu Ghar in Moghalpura.
Moghalpura: Commemorating the 131st birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the Save Urdu Organisation (SUO) will be conducting 'National Education Day' on November 11, at Urdu Ghar in Moghalpura.
The organisers will also be conducting a National Seminar and National Integration Mushaira on the occasion. Earlier on October 22, SUO president Arifuddin Ahmed made a plea requesting participation of Lecturers of Urdu from Government and Aided Junior Colleges. Subsequently, TS Intermediate Education Commissioner, Syed Omer Jaleel released a proceeding.
The Commissioner, after careful examination, permitted Urdu speaking principals and junior lecturers working in Government and Aided Junior Colleges in the State to participate in the National Seminar. "The Principals of Government and Aided Junior Colleges in the State are instructed to treat the absence of participants on November 11 as "On Duty" subject to production of the attendance certificate," the proceeding said.
