Nepal Electricity Authority delegation visits TSSPDCL
The representatives of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) met G Raghuma Reddy, Chairman & Managing Director of TSSPDCL, here on Wednesday.
Khairatabad: The representatives of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) met G Raghuma Reddy, Chairman & Managing Director of TSSPDCL, here on Wednesday.
The team discussed with the CMD various technical issues in meter reading, billing, IT-related programmes, solar power, IR port meters, 24-hour power to agricultural sector, detention of power pilferage, customer service centres and others.
Teknath Tiwari, Team Head, NEA, appreciated the efforts being rendered for 24-hour power supply at free of cost to the agricultural sector in Telangana state and expressed his pleasure at his visit to the TSSPDCL.
The Nepal team also visited various field offices and attended live projects with a view to implementing the procedures and technology in their country. They requested the CMD to extend technical support for development of their organisation. Sagarji, Anela Adhikari, K Ramulu, Swamy Reddy, P Narasimha Rao and other officials were present.
