Officials pulled up over delay in Road Under Bridge works
GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore expressed his dissatisfaction at the inordinate delay in the construction of railway under bridge being constructed at Anandbagh.
Malkajgiri: GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore expressed his dissatisfaction at the inordinate delay in the construction of railway under bridge being constructed at Anandbagh. He was speaking after the inspection of ongoing Road-Under-Bridge (RUB) works here on Wednesday.
Speaking to officials during his visit, Dana Kishore said that the construction works have been going on since the last nine years and the general public has been facing a lot of inconvenience due to the delay. He instructed the officials to take necessary measures to open the under bridge as soon as possible, while continuing the pending works.
The officials explained to the Commissioner that they have been facing legal hurdles in constructing footpaths and service roads for the bridge. Expressing his dissatisfaction, Dana Kishore instructed the officials to take measures to open the bridge first, keeping aside those works which are pending due to legal problems.
GHMC Zonal Commissioner Shankaraiah, Deputy Commissioner Venugopal, City Town Planner Prasad, Malkajgiri MRO Geeta, Jalamandali and GHMC officials accompanied him during the visit.
