What projects are taken up during your term?

There are several initiatives that we undertook including the construction of underground drainage pipelines. All the colonies have proper lighting and we built a community hall at Balamrai last year by using Rs 1 crore from the MLA funds. Due to the fund crunch, community halls at Karkhana and Mudfort are pending. Soon Anganwadi centers one at Kharkhana and other at Anna Nagar will come up.

Roads are still in bad condition?

Some internal roads at Mudfort are in very bad condition and also laying the new road at this area sanctioned. At Kharkhana for re-carpeting road Rs 20 lakh has been sanctioned from MLA funds and work would start soon.

What has been done about water supply, another big issue?

Earlier, people used to depend on tankers but now we have managed to lay 40 per cent water pipelines in households and also around 10 community borewells. As the pipeline is very old in some areas, new pipelines need to be laid for regular and proper water supply. Due to fund crunch, the works could not be taken up.

What is the status of stadium and Mahila Bhawan?

Due to lack of fund in SCB, the construction of stadium and Mahila Shakti Bhawan is kept pending. But, they are in the pipeline. Land for Mahila Shakti Bhawan was allotted opposite to Masthana Hotel.

Will removal of 3500 votes affect your chances?

The removal of so many votes would definitely affect as from that area i.e., Old Mudfort slum, I get a maximum number of votes. Last time I got more. I am pretty confident and very hopeful of winning the election.
