Phule birth anniv fete held at Bus Bhavan

Musheerabad: Mahatma Jyothi Rao Phule's 193rd birth anniversary was celebrated at Bus Bhavan on a grand note on Thursday. TSRTC Executive Director M Ravinder garlanded the portrait of Jyothi Rao and recalled his efforts in achieving equal status in the society.

Ravinder told that every TSRTC employee to follow the footsteps of great leaders like Phule and become leaders in their own way. He said that Phule sacrificed his life for the upliftment of women. TSRTC Secretary A Purushotham also highlighted the achievements of Jyothi Rao Phule. HODs, CPM TV Rao and senior officials, union leaders and employees also paid floral tributes, along with all BC welfare association leaders.
