Plastic waste dumped in Lake

Saroornagar: Heaps of garbage mainly containing plastic waste has been dumped in the Saroornagar lake. The residents and commuters are facing hardship due to the stinking smell emanating from the dumped garbage.

M Srinivas, a local said, "The garbage has been dumped in the lake for the past several months. Due to the lack of garbage bins, the residents and nearby people are throwing garbage and domestic waste on the road."
