Prof Maramraju's book launched
Tealangana Media Academy chairman Allam Narayana, along with the chairman of Telangana State Public Service Commission Ghanta Chakrapani launched the book ‘Telangana Gramayanam’ written by Prof Maramraju Sathyanaraya at Telangana Media Academy office on Wednesday.
Nampally: Tealangana Media Academy chairman Allam Narayana, along with the chairman of Telangana State Public Service Commission Ghanta Chakrapani launched the book 'Telangana Gramayanam' written by Prof Maramraju Sathyanaraya at Telangana Media Academy office on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Ghanta Chakrapani said the book explores various aspects of Telangana rural administration and the topics that can be useful to the state government while restructuring administrative system. Chakrapani said that the author, being a researcher, writer and teacher, provides insights into the history and evolution of Telangana rural administration and Telangana society.
The book discusses revenue, tax and land administration systems followed during Nizam rule, he said. Apart from the administrative systems, the book also provides insights into the people's lifestyles and their financial status during the Nizam era, Chakrapani said.
