As part of social work and with a motivation to be rewarded by the almighty in the holy month of Ramzan, a group of 15 members of ‘Youths of Golconda’ are providing free food at Seheri for the poor, needy and to the staff at hospitals.

Golconda: As part of social work and with a motivation to be rewarded by the almighty in the holy month of c a group of 15 members of 'Youths of Golconda' are providing free food at Seheri for the poor, needy and to the staff at hospitals.

Mohammed Rafi, the team leader of Youth of Golconda, said that the organisation was started on May 7, the first day of Ramzan. The group is providing food at hospitals, including Premier Hospital, Olive Hospital, Mahaveer Hospital, Sarojini Devi Hospital, Nampally Hospital and Govt hospitals in Golconda area.

The food is home cooked, and it contains white rice, dal and sabzi, often a non-vegetarian one. More than 150 food packets are being distributed to people at hospitals every day. "Hundreds of patients get admitted in hospitals and there are also attendees who take care of them, so we decided to provide free food at Seheri at Hospitals," Rafi said.

Mohammed Rafi said, "We are doing it to be rewarded by the almighty in the holy month Ramzan. We contribute for the cause, and sometimes we also accept contributions from other people in the area."

'Youths of Golconda' is run by Mohammed Rafi, Fahad Bin Jubair, Mohammed Majeedullah Quadri, Syed Rafath, Ghulam Khursheed Khan, Mohammed Abdul Jabbar, Salman Khan and others.
