Pujitha selected for Under-19 Elite Group IV
A student of Global Junior College, U Trisha Pujitha, has been selected to participate in the Under-19 Elite Group-IV girls tourney to be conducted by the National Cricket Academy. The college management honoured Pujitha and her parents here on Thursday.

Speaking at the function, Director of Global Junior College Javed Hussain said that students would be healthy and have a bright future if they receive encouragement in sports.
He lauded her parents as they would become role models for others. The college, he asserted, would always strive to bring out the hidden talent of students and give a boost to those who excel in sports. Hussain urged parents to encourage their wards to bring out their best.
Pujitha said there would be a training camp in the Anantapur Cricket Academy from May 12 to June 6. Thanks to her impressive performance during the last five years in the Under-16, 19 and 23 divisions, she was able to get the opportunity to play in the Elite Group event. Campus in-charge Ganesh was among those present at the function.
