Medchal: District Collector M V Reddy on Monday expressed ire at the collapse of a part of local Anganwadi centre's roof recently, while pointing out that there was no loss of life as children were not present.
At a review meeting, he directed officials to pull down dilapidated private/government school buildings and Anganwadi centres, which faced a threat of collapse during the monsoon, and alert the people on the situation by taking suitable steps.
He asked special officers to tour the allotted mandals to identify local problems and submit a report. Reddy attended a farwell to DSO Padma and District Manager Saritavani following their transfer.
